About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Operations Manager to join a school setting in Wiltshire on an interim basis. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead and oversee HR operations, ensuring smooth processes and compliance while fostering a supportive environment for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, contracts, and employee records.
  2. Develop and implement a plan for a new HR system.
  3. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and school policies.
  4. Provide operational support for recruitment and onboarding processes.
  5. Assist with employee relations cases, such as disciplinary and grievance matters.
  6. Collaborate with school leadership to improve HR systems and practices.
  7. Deliver high-quality support to staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
About You:

Proven experience in HR operations management, ideally within an education setting.

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work on-site for 5 days per week and begin immediately.
