Job summary

Principal People seeks an Interim Health and Safety Manager for an M&E contractor near High Wycombe. The 4-6 week contract starts asap, day rate £350-£425 (Outside IR35), site based. You will provide on-site health and safety leadership on the project, manage RAMS, monitor safe practices and guide the project team and subcontractors on H&S compliance.

Strong CDM knowledge and experience in M&E or data-centre projects are preferred; immediate availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E or data-centre projects is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of CDM requirements.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and site safety walks
• Review and approving of RAMS
• Monitoring of safe working practices
• Support the project management teams on the project
• Manage the H&S interaction with the company’s sub-contractors
• Create a strong working relationship the Principal Contractor
• Toolbox talks when required
• Identifying any H&S concerns and ensuring corrective action is taking
• Offer overall H&S guidance / advice on the project.
