An established manufacturing organization is seeking an Interim Health and Safety Advisor to ensure compliance and safety at their Blackburn site. This role involves offering a strong health and safety presence, conducting site walks, and providing essential advice on compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a NEBOSH General qualification and have experience in a manufacturing environment, along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Principal People are partnered with a well-established manufacturing organisation who are looking for an Interim Health and Safety Advisor on an initial 3 days per week, 4-6 month contract to be based at one of their sites in the Blackburn area.
This role will be to offer a visible health and safety presence on site, offering general health and safety advice, complete site walks and inspections, keep the site compliant for H&S, provide up to date reports of the site and to be the point of contact for any Health and Safety concern and to identify and establish improvements where needed.
The successful Interim Health and Safety Advisor will:
The role is to pay a daily rate of £300-350/day (Outside IR35). This requirement is for 3 days per week.
