We are currently looking for an Interim Head of Service (Asset Management and Building Safety) to join a Local Council in Yorkshire as soon as possible for a 3-6 month period whilst they recruit for the permanent post.
This role falls inside IR35 and requires on-site presence 2-3 days per week.
As Head of Service – Asset Management & Building Safety, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the council's housing stock, ensuring homes are safe, sustainable, and fit for the future.
You will lead the strategic planning and delivery of asset management, building safety, and capital investment across our housing stock. You’ll ensure our homes meet Decent Homes Standards, comply with building safety legislation, and align with our Net Zero ambitions.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll work closely with elected members, tenants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, warm, and sustainable homes.
