We are currently looking for an Interim Head of Service (Asset Management and Building Safety) to join a Local Council in Yorkshire as soon as possible for a 3-6 month period whilst they recruit for the permanent post.
This role falls inside IR35 and requires on-site presence 2-3 days per week.
As Head of Service – Asset Management & Building Safety, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the council's housing stock, ensuring homes are safe, sustainable, and fit for the future.
You will lead strategic planning and delivery of asset management, building safety, and capital investment across housing stock. You’ll ensure compliance with Decent Homes Standards, building safety legislation, and align with Net Zero ambitions.
This is a high-impact leadership role working closely with elected members, tenants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, warm, and sustainable homes.
