This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for an experienced M&A professional who can hit the ground running and drive immediate impact. The initial term is 3–6 months, with the potential to convert into a permanent position, subject to market conditions and business performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the M&A lifecycle—from sourcing and diligence to deal execution and integration—working closely with the CEO, senior leadership team, and Private Equity sponsor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of the group’s M&A pipeline, with responsibility for origination, assessment, and execution of acquisition opportunities

  4. Lead negotiations, manage advisers, and coordinate internal resources across finance, legal, and operations
  5. Ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses, working closely with internal teams to deliver synergies and value
  6. Provide regular reporting and updates to the CEO and Private Equity sponsor on pipeline progress and market activity
  7. Support strategic reviews and help refine the longer-term buy-and-build strategy as required

Candidate Profile:

  1. A highly experienced M&A or Corporate Development professional with a strong track record of delivering deals, ideally in insurance, energy or financial services
  2. Background in Private Equity portfolio companies, investment banking, or professional services (e.g. Big 4 Transaction Services)
  3. Commercially minded, financially literate, and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
