Job Description

As the interim Head of Finance Transformation, you will be responsible for:

1. Supporting the SLT in developing change programmes.
2. Identifying risk areas.
3. Working with stakeholders and ensuring relationships are maintained.
4. Ensuring financial reporting is conducted accurately and on time.
5. Supporting budget holders on key projects.
6. Developing best practice.

The Successful Applicant

The interim Head of Finance Transformation will have completed a similar role previously and holds a full accounting qualification (CIFPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Experience of working in a Local Authority is preferred, but other public sector organisations are welcome. This role will require someone to be on site 2-3 days a week.
