Interim Head of DevOps | Outside IR35 Contract | GreenTech Start Up

Contract: £800 - £850 per day

I am supporting a fast-growing Green-Tech client who are looking to bring in a Head of DevOps to play an integral part in creating a platform roadmap.

1. Outside IR35 Contract
2. 12 Month Contract

5. £800-£850 per day (Day rate on offer can vary more depending on experience)

Role Responsibilities/Required Experience:

1. Be responsible for maintaining and developing an Agile approach to systems delivery; ensuring work estimation is accurate for predictable system roadmap delivery during release cycles.
2. Refine the Software Development Lifecycle execution and enhance the development process efficiencies in the back-of-house system, whilst leading Agile transformations and infrastructure as code implementation.
3. Ensuring teams have a baseline set of skills and competencies through tailored training, as well as encouraging a collaborative working culture.
4. Report to the Founder on progress against active projects and highlight any areas of risk against project timelines that may affect the ability to deliver the product roadmaps.
5. Advocate Agile development practices within the engineering function and refining processes in collaboration with peer groups.
6. Demonstrable technical experience within an AWS stack software engineering environment.
7. A proven people manager, managing a software development team, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled engineers.
8. Awareness of SRE practices.
