Stratford-on-Avon District Council is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Development to lead the Planning teams, including Development Management, Planning Policy, Building Control, Heritage and Planning Enforcement. This role supports the South Warwickshire Local Plan, secures a 5-year housing land supply, and drives delivery in a challenging housing market.

• Build relationships with Members, managers and external organisations to support decision-making.

• Ensure governance, financial management, risk, data protection and compliance.
• Manage budgets and resources to deliver value for money within governance frameworks.
• Support resilience through emergency planning and partnership work.
