Job summary

ITV is seeking an Interim Head of Consolidation and Reporting to lead the Group consolidation in FCCS, manage a team of Group Financial Accountants in Manchester, and drive complex transactions through IFRS reporting. This 12-month fixed-term role requires strong technical accounting skills and proven leadership in a fast-paced corporate finance environment.

The Group Controllership and Reporting function sits at the heart of ITV's global corporate finance operations. We are responsible for maintaining overall accounting integrity, delivering robust period-end group consolidations, and ensuring absolute financial accuracy across our international entities. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, our team partners closely with Group Tax, Group Treasury, Group FP&A, and global subsidiaries to navigate major strategic transactions, streamline system configurations, and deliver high-quality statutory reporting under IFRS., We're looking for a highly experienced Interim Head of Consolidation and Reporting to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. Reporting directly to the Interim Global Head of Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations throughout a period of significant strategic change, specifically following the announced separation of the M&E division. This position provides essential temporary cover, backfilling the BAU activities of permanent team members who have been seconded to transaction-related projects. In this high-visibility leadership position, you will manage, coach, and mentor a team of Group Financial Accountants based in Manchester. You will take full ownership of the Group consolidation process via Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCCS), ensure complex acquisitions, disposals, and one-off corporate transactions are accurately accounted for, and manage global subsidiary relationships.

• Leading the monthly Group consolidation process in FCCS, including preparing supporting schedules and gathering balance sheet analytical commentary on working capital movements across the Group.
• Line managing, coaching, and mentoring the consolidation team of Group Financial Accountants to foster their professional growth.
• Accounting for complex acquisitions, disposals, and one-off corporate transactions in the system to ensure financial accounts accurately reflect structural changes.
• Assist with delivering the Group's Annual Report accurately and on time across Year End and Half Year reporting periods.
• Managing relationships with ITV subsidiaries globally, serving as a key point of contact and guiding international teams on group reporting requirements.
• Managing and delivering training on the FCCS consolidation system for new finance team members.
• Preparing timely forecasts, budgets, and 5-year plans for relevant Group reporting areas.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with key internal stakeholder groups, including Group Tax, Group Treasury, and Group FP&A.
• Driving process and system improvements across the consolidation and reporting framework.
• Must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with extensive Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Hands-on experience using the Oracle FCCS consolidation system.
• Proven background in multi-currency group consolidations for large corporate entities.
• Experience accounting for complex corporate transactions alongside a strong, expert working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proven experience line managing, coaching, and developing a team of finance professionals.
• Demonstrated experience working at a fast pace within a highly challenging, moving environment.

Potential Challenges

• During key reporting periods (Half-Year and Year-End), 4 to 5 days per week in the office is required. Flexible at other times.
• Requirement for longer working hours during critical month-end, half-year, and year-end reporting cycles.
• Depending on location, regular travel will be required to Manchester where the team is based.
