Title: Interim Group Management Accountant

Salary: £300-350 per day (Temp to Perm Opportunity)

Finatal is partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed software business that's scaling rapidly. They are seeking a Management Accountant to support the CFO during a significant expansion period. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers an excellent opportunity for someone new to Private Equity to gain valuable experience working alongside a seasoned PE CFO, with strong potential for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting Support: Assisting the financial reporting team in compiling essential reports for management.
• Account Reconciliation & Cleanup: Clearing overdue accounts and resolving financial discrepancies.
• Process Automation: Contributing to automating processes, including balance sheet and bank statement reconciliations.
• Cash Management: Managing cash flow effectively and identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Year-End & Audit Support: Supporting year-end procedures and audits, working closely with external auditors.
• Process Improvement: Implementing best practices and driving improvements within reporting functions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Accounting qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
