Trial Balance Consulting is helping a long-standing client in Hayle recruit an Interim Group Finance Manager. The role offers hybrid working, a 30-hour week option, and an initial 8-week interim contract with potential for permanent employment.

The successful candidate will lead a finance team of seven, ensure robust internal controls, and oversee management accounts and payroll. ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience is required.

Interim Group Finance Manager (with potential permanent opportunity) - Hayle / Hybrid - £50-60,000 FTE

Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively assigned by a long standing client operating in the hospitality sector and considered to be a market leader in their field. The business has tasked us with sourcing an experienced Group Finance Manager who can join them as soon as possible. This role can be operated on either a full time or part time basis (30 hours per week) to suit the successful candidate, and will initially be offered on an interim basis (minimum contract duration 8 weeks), but with potential for the successful application to apply for a permanent position should they wish. The role will be principally based from the company’s headquarters in Hayle, but with scope for hybrid working - details to be discussed with shortlisted candidates.

Working closely alongside a highly experienced CEO (and acting CFO), and managing a team of seven finance colleagues, this will be pivotal role where the successful candidate will assume the lead on day-to-day financial control for a group of business entities. Key responsibilities to include:

Think you’ve got what it takes? We’re looking for a dynamic, energetic, and down-to-earth Finance Managerwith a demonstrable history of success. A professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or suitably qualified by vocational experience, you’ll need a solid background in supervising staff, preparation of financial and management reports, up to date knowledge of accounting standards and budgetary controls, and most certainly a natural leadership style.
