Consult is seeking an Interim Group Financial Controller to steer year‑end close, consolidation and acquisition accounting during a pivotal period. You will partner with the external auditors to ensure timely sign‑off for a large, multi‑entity group.

Qualified ACA with 10+ years post‑qualification experience and Big 4 exposure is essential. You will lead the Financial Control team and liaise with the Group Finance Director on finance transformation and M&A activity.

• ACA qualification with 10+ years post–qualification experience, Big 4 background preferred.
• Strong track record in large, multi-entity groups with acquisitive activity.
• Capable of leading year‑end and statutory audits under tight timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Group's year‑end close, consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Oversee group consolidation across a multi‑currency, acquisitive structure.
• Own acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocations and goodwill.
• Act as primary finance lead for external auditors through sign‑off.
• Review statutory accounts for technical accuracy and consistency.
• Provide guidance on UK GAAP/FRS 102 and complex accounting matters.
• Lead and mentor Financial Control team during year‑end and audits.
• Collaborate with Group FD and leadership on finance transformation and M&A.
