Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a large industry client in Central London to build a standalone Treasury function. The role is hybrid, onsite at least 3 days per week, with responsibility for treasury accounting, month-end close, derivative valuations, hedge accounting, intercompany netting and treasury reporting.

The successful candidate will lead treasury-related processes, support a changing environment, and help implement best-in-class treasury operations.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• 4+ years' experience in practice, industry, or a combination of both.
• Advanced Excel and experience using financial systems.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and control capabilities.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across international teams.
• Big 4 background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate treasury accounting and reporting.
• Support month-end close activities and derivative valuations.
• Perform hedge accounting and intercompany netting tasks.
• Produce treasury-related management reporting and insights.
• Contribute to transformation and process improvement initiatives.

We are building a standalone Treasury function that will support our global business through robust financial control, accurate reporting, and modern treasury operations. This is a hybrid role, where you would be expected onsite a minimum of 3 days a week in Central London.

Description

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely treasury accounting, supporting month-end close activities, derivative valuations, hedge accounting, intercompany netting, and treasury-related reporting.

This role goes beyond traditional accounting. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a changing environment, can operate effectively with ambiguity, and is motivated by the opportunity to improve processes and help build a best-in-class Treasury function.

Profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• At least 4 years' experience within practice, industry, or a combination of both.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and control capabilities.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across international teams.
• Experience going through Transformations in previous roles.
• Big 4 background desirable.
