Job summary

Morson Edge Finance is recruiting for an Interim Group Finance Accountant/Manager to join the Group Finance function of a major UK listed international business. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to external reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting across multiple markets.

Reporting to the Head of External Reporting, you will support half-year and year-end statutory statements, maintain consolidations, and liaise with auditors while ensuring IFRS compliance and robust

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with strong technical accounting background.
• Experience with statutory accounts and group consolidation.
• Familiarity with IFRS and UK reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support half-year and year-end statutory statements and disclosures.
• Own areas of statutory reporting (fixed assets, payables, cash flow).
• Maintain group consolidation and monthly submissions.
• Prepare UK statutory accounts under FRS 101 and Companies Act.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and respond to requests.
• Research accounting matters and apply IFRS consistently.
• Collaborate with Group finance teams to improve processes.
