Overview

Morgan McKinley are seeking a qualified ACA/ACCA Group Accountant to join an growing international business in London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering quarterly and year-end reporting under IFRS, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and providing technical accounting support across the group.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare consolidated quarterly and year-end financial reports under IFRS.

  • Lead on balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across multiple entities.

  • Provide technical accounting support on IFRS matters, liaising with auditors as required.

  • Support in the preparation of external financial statements and related disclosures.

  • Deliver financial analysis and insight to support commercial and strategic decision-making.

  • Assist with process improvements and controls within the Group Finance function.

  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of group reporting.

Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in a group or technical reporting environment.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and external financial reporting requirements.

  • Proven experience with quarterly/year-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; able to manipulate and analyse large datasets.

  • Comfortable preparing external reports and reconciliations in a complex, international environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to business partner and provide clear financial insight.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
