Job summary

Foundation Scotland is seeking an interim Grants Assessor to join our team for a six-month fixed-term contract. Foundation Scotland is looking for an interim Grants Assessor to join us on a six month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll review grant applications from charities and community organisations, explore the evidence behind each proposal and assess whether projects are well planned, financially sound and capable of creating meaningful impact. You’ll balance careful analysis with clear communication, spend time examining budgets, governance and safeguarding information, speaking with applicants where further detail is needed, and producing concise assessment reports. Your evidence based recommendations will help ensure funding decisions are fair, consistent and focused on the needs of communities.
