Job summary

SmartestEnergy is seeking a Chief Information Officer to define and execute the group’s global technology strategy in support of international growth. You will advise the Board and executive team on technology, AI, cyber security, data and innovation, while leading enterprise technology, data governance and security across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven success in senior global technology leadership roles within large, international organisations.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and enterprise technology functions.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technology and digital transformation programmes on scope, budget and schedule.
• Experience developing and executing enterprise AI strategies and data governance initiatives.
• Track record managing outsourcing, managed services and offshore delivery partnerships to improve service performance and value.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Group's technology vision, strategy and operating model with Board alignment.
• Advise the Board and executive leadership on technology, AI, cyber security, data and innovation.
• Lead enterprise technology, data governance, cyber security and IT risk management.
• Oversee technology operations, service delivery and budget adherence across the Group.
• Develop global technology leadership and capability, including talent and succession planning.
• Drive technology-enabled innovation and digital transformation aligned to business strategy.
• Own business continuity and disaster recovery programmes for operational resilience.
• Manage external partnerships and technology vendors to support strategic objectives.
