Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Southampton based client, a market leading organisation, as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager on an interim basis for 6 months.

The FP&A Manager plays a central role in supporting strategic and operational decision–making by delivering high–quality financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.

What will the FP&A Manager role involve?

  • Key to identifying risks, uncovering commercial opportunities, and translating complex data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders
  • Success is defined by the clarity and accuracy of financial outputs, the ability to drive informed decisions, and the continuous enhancement of forecasting and reporting processes
  • Operating as a key business partner, the FP&A Manager connects finance with operations to support the organisations commercial ambitions and growth strategy


Suitable candidate for the FP&A Manager vacancy:

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a pedigree in FP&A, commercial finance and business partnering
  • Excellent Excel skills, forecasting, budgeting, performance metrics, and scenario planning
  • A strong communicator with excellent influencing and business partnering skills at a senior management and executive level

  • Initially a 6 month assignment although this could be extended further
