Job Description:
Consumer Additions are currently partnering exclusively with FTSE listed, leading Estate Agency, to recruit an Interim FP&A Analyst to join their team based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in preparation of results packs for key stakeholders (board, executive committee, area directors etc.).
- Support end-to-end the Group budget, 5-year plan, and forecast processes, along with ongoing support for rolling reforecasts.
- Perform month-end analysis - understanding and clearly explaining performance vs budget, forecast, and LY, producing value-added analysis, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Leverage relationships with Business Analytics/Financial Reporting/Payroll teams on data inputs to ensure insights are accurate, timely, and repeatable.
- Support the FP&A Manager on KPIs relevant for external results presentations.
- Conduct ad-hoc project-based analysis to drive efficiencies and future insights.
- Assist Senior Finance Business Partner in effectively communicating, explaining, and challenging performance vs LY and budget for various business unit leaders.
- Build a clear picture of year-to-go R&Os and plans to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities.
- Control costs and identify areas of inefficiency.
- Identify and report on key KPI metrics to highlight levers for driving Business Partnering with Senior Management.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives (both revenue and cost-focused) across the business.
- Utilize current PowerBI reporting and influence the development of future reporting.
- Collate and explain insights from the business to Senior Finance Management to contextualize financial results and highlight R&Os yet to materialize.
Key Requirements:
- Big 4 / mid-tier ACA (ICAEW) or CA (ICAS) qualified.
- Audit background.
- Strong IFRS knowledge and understanding (key standards: IFRS 15, IFRS 9, IFRS 16).
- Experience in developing and/or auditing financial reports and non-financial KPIs.
- Ability to manipulate large datasets through Excel, PowerBI, or other relevant tools.
- Strong presentation skills, including use of PowerPoint.
- Collaborative team player, engaging, and able to build strong relationships across teams.
- Quick learner with a desire to improve commercial finance skills.
- Flexible, agile, and resilient.
- Ability to adapt communication style for all levels of the business.
- Able to see the big picture and dive into details as needed.
