Overview

HW Finance are currently looking for an Interim Financial Reporting Manager to join a large, dynamic services business based in Leeds. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and enjoys getting involved in a wide variety of tasks.

Interim Financial Reporting Manager

Location: Leeds (Hybrid)

Length of contract: 6 Months +

Daily rate: £300 - £500 per day

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Produce statutory accounts for multiple legal entities.
  • Ensure statutory accounts are completed and filed within group reporting deadlines.
  • Review balance sheets and implement improvements to financial controls.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and improve financial reporting systems and databases.
About You
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
  • Good understanding of IFRS and experience applying these standards in complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Comfortable working in a large, fast-changing organisation with diverse business interests.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to get involved in a wide range of responsibilities.
