Job summary

Altum Consulting in Central London is seeking an Interim Financial Planning Manager for a Heritage Charity on a fixed-term basis until May 2027. The role combines financial planning, business partnering, and major project support within a high-profile organisation.

The position is FTC until May 2027, full-time, hybrid with three days in the office each week, and based in Central London. Start mid-September.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience supporting budgets, forecasts and year-end close.
• Strong financial reporting and analysis for multiple directorates.
• Previous management experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent prioritisation and ability to meet deadlines.

This Financial Planning Manager role is an opportunity to join a high-profile heritage charity on a fixed-term basis until May 2027. Sitting within the wider finance team, the role will act as a Finance Business Partner across a number of non-trading directorates, supporting senior stakeholders with budgeting, forecasting and financial decision-making.

Alongside business partnering, you will support major projects within the organisation's Central Investment Programme, improving financial reporting and providing greater visibility over third-party funding and project cash flows. You will also lead the year-end close across your directorates and manage two Finance Analysts.

Key Responsibilities
