Job summary

NXTGEN Recruitment are assisting an international business to hire an Interim Financial Controller for a three-month assignment in Suffolk. You will own the year-end audit, coordinate the External Auditors and drive the Annual Report & Accounts under tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a proven track record of leading external audits and delivering high-quality statutory reporting within a multi-entity structure.

Qualifications

• Experience leading external audits through to completion.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge under UK IFRS.
• Experience in multi-entity reporting environments.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and Directors.

Responsibilities

• Own the year-end audit process and be the main contact for external auditors.
• Manage audit timetable, information requests and reporting deadlines.
• Lead preparation and review of the Group Annual Report & Accounts.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in line with UK IFRS.
• Support technical accounting papers and disclosures when required.
• Collaborate with Finance Director and Board throughout the cycle.
• Coordinate financial data across entities to support group reporting.
• Identify and resolve technical accounting issues as they arise.
