Job description

Interim Financial Controller (D365 Implementation)

We are Winbro. We are at the heart of the green hydrogen revolution enabling production of next generation fuel cells with our ultra fast laser drilling and welding technologies. Our technology is capable of producing highly complex micro parts to micron level accuracies, creating a revolution in personalised drug delivery and medical care. Our equipment can machine highly complex semiconductor parts, enabling next level efficiencies in electronics manufacturing.

JOIN US as an Interim Financial Controller and we can offer you a 3-4 month contract to work in a high-tech, specialist company partnering with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. The role is based on-site, at our facility in Shepshed, Leicestershire.

The main purpose of the role is to provide support to the VP Finance and wider finance team during our impending Microsoft ERP implementation.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Support the VP Finance with the day to day running of the finance function ensuring achievement of both internal and external deadlines whilst transitioning to a new ERP system.
  2. Support the wider finance team, including UK and US Management Accountants, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure 'normal service' is provided whilst transitioning to a new ERP system.
  3. Assist VP Finance in the preparation of annual budgets.
  4. Support with finance business partnering to the UK & US leadership.
  5. Ensure quality and accuracy of financial reporting.
  6. Regular forecasting with frequent touch points across the business.
  7. Cost control.
  8. Process improvement projects.

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who has been operating within a manufacturing environment. Ideally we hope to find a candidate with team/function leadership experience but we can consider a management accountant looking for managerial experience. You must have a willingness to be 'hands on' and demonstrate sound business acumen.
