Job Description:

Join us as an Interim Financial Controller for a 3-4 month contract at our high-tech, specialized facility in Shepshed, Leicestershire. You will support the VP Finance and the wider finance team during our upcoming Microsoft ERP implementation.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

1. Support the VP Finance in managing the daily finance operations, ensuring deadlines are met during the ERP transition.
2. Assist the UK and US management accountants, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams to maintain standard services during the ERP implementation.
3. Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets.
4. Provide finance business partnering to UK & US leadership.
5. Ensure the accuracy and quality of financial reporting.
6. Conduct regular forecasts and maintain communication across the business.

Requirements

We seek a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in a manufacturing environment. Leadership experience in a team or function is preferred, but management accountants seeking managerial roles will also be considered. Candidates must be willing to be hands-on and possess strong business acumen. Experience with D365 implementation is highly desirable. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and reside within a commutable distance of Shepshed, Leicestershire.
