VANRATH are delighted to be working with a successful tech business based in the Belfast area in their recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller. This is an initial interim contract for a period of 9 months and can offer the opportunity for an immediate start.

Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller will join the SMT and will play an important part in driving cost reductions throughout the business. The ideal candidate will have extensive strategic and hands on experience, and be able to run the finance team with full autonomy.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years' experience in senior leadership role
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Available at short notice
• Ability to liaise closely with non-finance staff

What you'll do

• Oversee all cost accounting operations including analysis, budgeting & forecasting
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to support business decisions
• Develop and maintain cost control systems
• Support wider finance team with month end management accounting responsibilities
