Job Description:

Charity People is working with a £10 million turnover NGO to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months based in Preston, Lancashire.

The working week is 4 days, with a salary of £62,539 for four days.

The candidate is expected to start early June 2025.

Salary: £62,539 for four days per week

Must be: very strong on Charity SORP and statutory accounts

Experience in: leading system upgrade or implementation

Work arrangement: Hybrid, going to East London twice a week

Key priorities include:

• Completion of annual accounts and audit (in final stages)
• Coordinate financial system upgrade, managing and working closely with the Project Manager
• Lead payments, Accounts payable and receivable team
• Follow up on audit findings

This role will close on 4th June, 2025.
