About Our Client

Our client is a large organisation in the healthcare industry, based in North Yorkshire. They are known for their innovative approach, and for being a key player in the sector.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Supporting the organisation through their audit.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Prior experience as a Financial Accountant/ Group Accountant, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
