A growing industrial/manufacturing organisation is searching for an Interim Financial Controller to manage financial activities and implement process improvements for a duration of 4 to 6 months. This role entails overseeing month-end processes and leading finance-related projects, requiring expertise in financial management and effective communication.
My client is seeking an Interim Financial Controller to bridge the gap while the company recruits a permanent hire (the role will last between 4 and 6 months).
As well as month-end, the role is heavily focused on process improvement, project work, and business partnering. The company has some legacy issues and inefficiencies that need to be addressed.

Description
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Month-End Close: Oversee and manage a 5-day month-end process (currently handled by external accountants).
* Process Improvement: Identify and fix inefficiencies in reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls.
* Project Work: Lead and deliver finance-related projects, including systems integration and reporting enhancements.
* Business Partnering: Provide actionable insights and financial support to operational teams.
* Systems Utilisation: Improve use of existing systems including Power BI

A competitive day rate dependent on experience, in the range of £350 per day and £450 per day (if umbrella company)
NB: This role sits inside IR35.
There could be an opportunity for this role to go permanent for the right candidate.
