Qualifications

• ACA Qualified ou équivalent avec un solide parcours académique.

Responsibilities

• Supporter la comptabilité et l'assurance de bilan.
• Gérer la comptabilité statutaire et le reporting.
• Préparer et publier des états financiers mensuels dans les temps.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity within a multi-billion turnover business based near Reading. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can come in and just add value!!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with balance sheet accounting and assurance.
• Manage all statutory accounting and reporting
• Oversee systems and process transformations
• Lead compliance, risk management, and controllership
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance reporting
• Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements
• Research and resolve technical accounting issues
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Manage tax filings and compliance with reporting requirements
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
• Take ownership of balance sheet controls, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations, and identifying and addressing any discrepancies
• Implement processes to enhance the efficiency and reliability of balance sheet management and reporting
• Assist in building a high-performing finance function
• Build reports and manage data sets using Excel

Requirements:

• ACA Qualified or equivalent with strong academics
• Proven experience leading a sizable finance team
• Strong background in financial reporting, balance sheet control, and financial processes

Competitive daily rate of £450-£500, commensurate with experience
