Job summary

Pratap Partnership seeks an interim qualified accountant for a period of approximately three months to join the finance team during a busy year-end period.

You will work within a technical financial accounting environment, quickly adapting to an established reporting function and supporting year-end close, statutory accounts, consolidations, and IFRS 16 accounting. A proactive, independent worker is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA credentials.
• Experience with statutory accounts and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with group consolidations and IFRS 16 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support year-end close and external reporting.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts.
• Assist with group consolidations and reporting.
• Account for leases under IFRS 16.
• Prepare year-end schedules, reconciliations and docs.
• Support external audit and respond to queries.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve items.
• Assist with technical accounting queries as needed.
• Work with wider finance team to meet deadlines.
• Provide additional finance support during busy periods.
