Job summary

International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) seeks an experienced Interim Financial Accountant for a contract from September through December, on the outskirts of Swindon near Cirencester. The role centers on audit preparation, and delivering consolidated statutory accounts for four group companies, guiding them through the audit process.

You'll also support the Financial Controller and wider finance team with management accounts, reporting, VAT returns and other duties as needed,

Qualifications

• Experience with audit preparation and statutory accounts.
• Familiarity with consolidation for multiple group companies.
• Ability to assist VAT returns and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit preparation and work through consolidated statutory accounts.
• Prepare accounts for four group companies through to audit completion.
• Support the Financial Controller and finance team with reporting and month-end tasks.
• Handle VAT returns and general treasury/compliance duties as required.

Interim Financial Accountant - Cirencester

We're supporting a client based on the outskirts of Swindon who are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to join their finance team from September through to around December.

The main focus of the role will be audit preparation, supporting the completion of the consolidated statutory accounts and the accounts for four group companies, seeing the process through to completion of the audit.

Alongside this, you'll provide general support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team, getting involved in management accounts, reporting, VAT returns and anything else that needs doing.

We're looking for someone well-rounded, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This would suit someone who enjoys contracting, can hit the ground running and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
