Altum Consulting is seeking an Interim Finance Transformation Lead to drive a major finance improvement programme for an international charity on a London-based hybrid basis (1-2 days in the office). The six-month assignment focuses on streamlining processes, enhancing month-end reporting and delivering efficiencies across the finance function, with close collaboration to the Interim FD.

You will lead transformation projects, map processes, optimise Xledger and mentor finance colleagues to embed

Qualifikationen

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience delivering finance transformation, process improvement or change projects within a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of finance systems and how they can be utilised to improve efficiency, controls and reporting (Xledger experience advantageous).
• Experience of process mapping, facilitating workshops and implementing improved ways of working.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence and bring people along through change.
• Proactive hands-on and solutions-focused approach with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience in charity/not-for-profit sector is beneficial but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Lead on finance transformation projects and drive process improvements across the finance function.
• Review and improve month-end processes, reconciliations and reporting for faster closes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support optimisation of Xledger for reporting and automated workflows.
• Improve revenue reconciliations, invoice approvals and cost allocations across programmes.
• Assist in implementing new processes and controls and embed changes.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to finance colleagues to sustain changes.
