Finance Transformation Lead: I am delighted to be partnering a key Public Sector organisation in their search for a senior finance transformation specialist to support the Director in building a fit-for-purpose integrated and future-ready finance function for the organisation.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Transformation Lead:

  • Act as the Directors strategic partner in delivering a coherent, resilient finance function.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the new finance structure across the group finance function.
  • Oversee the transition to a new finance system and the redesign of financial processes and reporting.
  • Coordinate with HR, and legal to support restructuring, recruitment and associated constitutional developments

Key responsibilities of the Finance Transformation Lead:

  • A strong track record in public sector finance transformation (essential)
  • Deep understanding of Local Authority finance systems and statutory responsibilities (essential)
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strategic vision and operational delivery capability.
