Interim Finance Officer (Social Housing)

Housing – North London

Duration: 6 months

About the client

The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Finance Officer for a housing provider in North London.

Accountabilities

• Ensure financial transactions are processed timely and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Produce and post sales invoices.
• Complete monthly reconciliations including bank, debtors, and creditors control accounts.
• Maintain accurate housing database and tenant arrears records.
• Update the asset register with new assets.
• Identify monthly accruals and prepayments.
• Handle banking activities, including cash and cheque deposits.
• Manage petty cash.
• Manage the rent system.

Candidate Requirements

• Available to start on short notice.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Finance or accounting qualification or working towards one.
• Experience within the housing sector.
