Are you an experienced Management Accountant or Finance Manager looking for a flexible, part-time interim role within the charity sector?

We're currently supporting a well-regarded charitable organisation based in Frome with the appointment of an Interim Part-Time Finance Manager to support this well respected charity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working in a purpose-driven environment.

Job Title: Interim Part-Time / Finance Manager
Location: Frome, Somerset (Ideally on-site)
Rate: £211 per day PAYE (Equivalent to approx. £55,000 per annum)
Contract Length: 3 months
PT Hours: 2-3 days a week (flexible on days)
Start Date: ASAP
Sector: Charity
System: Sage 50

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver month-end accounts and reporting
  • Oversee and support a small finance team
  • Prepare statutory and VAT returns (Charity experience desirable)
  • Review, sign-off, and provide cover for payroll
  • Produce accurate reports for the Board and Finance Director

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a management accounting or finance manager role
  • Comfortable working in a small, hands-on finance function
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
  • Charity sector experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Available to start at short notice and happy to be based on-site in Frome
