Job summary

Mackie Myers is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join an established organisation in Oxford for a 3-6 month assignment. The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, with multi-entity reporting experience, and a hands-on, commercially focused finance professional.

You will own monthly management accounts, budgeting and cash-flow reporting, and support year-end and statutory reporting. Hybrid working with at least 3 days in central Oxford office.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA or comparable qualification)
• Finance Manager / Financial Controller or similar senior finance professional
• Residing in a commutable distance to central Oxford
• Strong across management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Available to commit to a 3-6 month assignment

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the monthly management accounts and reporting cycle
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting
• Provide analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure balance-sheet reconciliations are completed
• Support year-end, audit and statutory reporting requirements as required
• Review and improve existing finance processes and reporting
