Overview

The Interim Finance Manager/Head of Finance is required on an initial 3-4 month temporary assignment in a client near Newport.

Client Details

Our client is a growing organisation based near Newport who has a fantastic Client base and a solid balance sheet.

Description

My client requires a temp Finance Manager/Head of Finance to join the business for 3-4 months whilst they recruit a Permanent member of staff.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager/Head of Finance will be joining at a very busy time for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Produce the monthly Management Accounts for the business.
  • There is a large project investigating and resolving invoicing issues.
  • Develop all Transactional Finance processes ensuring all clients are billed correctly and all money is accrued for in the correct manner
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
  • Provide insights to improve financial performance.
Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

  • Professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
  • An ability to work independently and deliver results in a temporary role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Job Offer
  • Competitive daily rate of approximately £300 to £400 per day via an umbrella company
  • Flexible working arrangement: 3 days on-site and 2 days from home. may be 5 days on site for the initial few weeks.
  • Initial 3-4 month assignment
