A recruitment agency in Dundee seeks an experienced Finance Manager for a 14-month fixed term contract. You will oversee finance operations, prepare management accounts, and manage a small team. The ideal candidate is a Qualified Accountant with strong accounting skills and experience in multi-entity reporting. Working hours are flexible, with a preference for in-office work and onsite parking available.
Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to support our client, based in Dundee, to appoint a Finance Manager for a 14-month fixed term contract. This role is due to commence in October and represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a varied position, working closely with the Head of Finance and leading a small and busy team. You will join a group with international interests, operating in the Engineering sector and will oversee a team of 4 staff.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will oversee day-to-day finance operations, preparing consolidated management accounts for the group and will be responsible for preparing management accounts for one of the entities directly. You will supervise the team ensuring tasks are delivered accurately and on time, while also driving process and system improvements.

We are ideally seeking a Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting and people management experience. You will have excellent attention to detail, be confident managing multi-entity reporting and enjoy working in a collaborative, hands-on team environment. Experience of group consolidation and process improvement would be highly advantageous.
