A major recruitment firm is seeking a Finance Manager on a 12-month contract in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial accounts and management reporting, and must possess a CCAB or CIMA qualification. HBLB is an influential organisation, supporting the horseracing industry by reinvesting a levy, taken from bookmakers and the Tote, to fund meets, both small and large, as well as facilitate improvements to welfare, medicine and training.
Although very much an independent organisation, HBLB operates at arm’s length of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport.
The Finance Manager is responsible for:
HBLB are based in Canary Wharf and work to a hybrid policy of six days office attendance per month.
The successful candidate will:
Experience working in a Central Government Arm’s Length Body is advantageous and wider Public Sector experience preferable. Exposure to upgrading or implementing a finance system is also highly beneficial.
