A leading oil and gas firm is seeking an Interim Finance Manager for a 3–6 month contract, focusing on statutory accounting and financial reporting. ExcitingInterim Finance Manager opportunity to join a rapidly growing oil and gas business for a 3–6 month contract which has the option to go permanent.This is a critical role focused on statutory accounting and financial reporting during a peak reporting period. Due to the company growth plans there will be variety in the role, and career growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, including tax and regulatory filings.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, tax, and operations.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial controls and processes.
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Proven experience in statutory accounting and financial reporting.
Strong working knowledge of SAP, ideally S/4HANA.
Oil & gas sector experience preferred, or other large, complex industries.
Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
