Interim Finance Manager
Location: Leicester (hybrid working - 1 day from home)
Start: Immediate
Duration: Until end of January 2026
Rate: To be discussed on application (Inside IR35)

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a leading UK retailer in securing an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support their online finance function during a period of change and system implementation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional to make a real impact across a fast-paced, complex business environment. The role will focus on online margin reporting and central cost control, as well as supporting a major SAP-based project and finance transformation activity.

Key areas of responsibility of the Interim Finance Manager position include:

• Consolidating cost allocations for three key areas of the Group

Month-end and quarter-end margin reporting and analysis

Partnering with key stakeholders across Trading, Product, Supply Chain and wider Finance teams

Developing reporting to support key business decisions

Budgeting and forecasting for group central costs

Supporting online finance transformation, including reporting improvements and migration to new system

Ideal profile:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) ideal but not essential

Strong experience in margin reporting, cost control and business partnering

Proven background in supporting finance transformation or system change projects (ideally SAP or Oracle Fusion)

Able to manage complex stakeholder relationships and work at pace

Retail, FMCG or consumer sector experience would be a bonus
