This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate at board level, with prior sector experience as head of finance, financial controller or finance director. Duration: 6 months minimum with potential extension. Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

Start early to mid-October. Location near Bath. Daily rate up to £400 (Inside IR35).

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified accountant.

Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts.
• Cashflow forecasting and treasury management.
• Bank covenant monitoring and compliance reporting.
• Oversight of payroll for 400–500 employees.
• Management of sales ledgers, purchase ledgers and debt collection.
• Responsible for cash and investment management.
• VAT returns and Corporation Tax compliance.
• Management of external audit process.
• Insurance claims administration.
• Attendance at Finance Committee meetings and preparation of reports.
• Support the implementation of a new HR and payroll system.
