A leading Fintech scale-up in the UK is seeking an Interim Finance Director for a 6-month contract, offering a competitive day rate of £650-800. This remote role focuses on financial stewardship, strategic guidance, and managing a small finance team. Essential qualifications include being a qualified accountant with substantial SaaS finance leadership experience. The position demands strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver board-level reporting and strategic financial insights.
Harmonic is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a Fintech SaaS scale‑up, who are on the search for a Finance Director to join on an initial 6‑month contract. The client is open to exploring fractional (3‑4 days per week) as well as full‑time interim.
Our client is a B2B SaaS Fintech scale‑up that has carved a strong niche within its subsector of software development. Backed by impressive investors with a strong track record in scaling software businesses, the company is primed for further fundraising and a steep growth trajectory.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the company's growth and enhance its operational processes. With a two‑person finance team handling most transactional work and month‑end duties, the focus of this position is on delivering commercial insights, strategic financial guidance, and wider FP&A support. It is ideally suited to a commercially minded Finance Director with strong FP&A and commercial finance experience, particularly within a SaaS environment.
Day Rate: £650–800
Length of Contract: 6 months
Location: Remote (with option to attend office in London)
