Rate: Up to £400 per day

About the Role: Hays are working with a leading manufacturing organisation in the Yeovil area of Somerset, who are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to join their team starting from June 2025. This role is crucial for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the financial health of the organisation during a transitional period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Coordinate, analyse, and report the financial performance to management and the board of directors.
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage the finance team and provide leadership and guidance.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve financial performance.
Requirements:
  • Ideally, a qualified Finance Director (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
