Job description

Interim Finance Director Opportunity to oversee a period of change whilst a new permanent hire is made

Your new company

An ambitious manufacturer dedicated to innovation, quality, and sustainability seeks to appoint a hands-on, yet dynamic Interim Finance Director to support them as they embark on their next phase of growth.

Your new role

As the Interim Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of the business. You will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that the companies' financial strategies align with business goals and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in driving financial performance, managing risks, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with a range of stakeholders within the manufacturing site itself to ensure that the business understands its costs and stock position in order to facilitate a streamlined production process. You will take the lead when it comes to any key projects, including a forthcoming ERP implementation, whilst running a high-performing team. You will interpret the overall group strategy set by HQ and implement it across the UK operations in order to ensure alignment and overall best practice.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant with prior experience within the Manufacturing and/or FMCG sector. You will be a first-class leader with strong stakeholder management skills and be adept at working across matrix environments. Due to the nature of the manufacturing sector, you will be comfortable being on site more often than not with some flexibility available for hybrid work arrangements. You will demonstrate a broad skill set across financial controlling, technical accounting, FP&A and business partnering in order to oversee the end-to-end finance function.

What you'll get in return

A lead role within an ambitious organisation where you can make the role your own.
