Morgan Law, a charity-focused client in London, seeks an Interim Finance Business Partner to translate complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders and support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management accounts during a 6-month contract.

The role involves close collaboration with research and delivery teams, delivering actionable insights and ensuring effective financial governance in a mission-driven organisation.

Formación

• Experience in project costing, budgeting or financial analysis.
• Proven ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance audiences.
• Organised, detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence using financial systems and data.

Our client is a charity and research organisation seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a 6 month fixed-term contract.
Based in London with three days a week in the office, this role offers up to 50,000 and is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact on a mission-driven organisation.
You’ll work closely with non-finance stakeholders across the organisation, translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights that help them make better decisions.

Responsibilities

• Project costing and financial analysis that directly supports the charity's research and delivery teams
• Bridge the gap between finance and operations, making financial data accessible and meaningful to non-specialists
• Supporting annual budget-setting, multi-year forecasting, and financial modeling for research projects and departmental units
• Delivering accurate, timely monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPI tracking

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in project costing, budgeting, or financial analysis
• Proven ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance audiences
• Organised, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent finance qualification
• Previous experience in a business partner or similar advisory finance role
• Knowledge of charity accounting standards or experience in the research sector
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and data
