Job summary

Rutherford Cross is supporting a not-for-profit organisation in Edinburgh to appoint an Interim Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month period. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will drive monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

You will partner with operational heads to identify efficiencies and contribute to medium/long-term planning. The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with FP&A/FBP experience and strong Excel and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified accountant with FP&A/Finance Business Partner experience.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in not-for-profit sector preferred.

Rutherford Cross is working with a not-for-profit organisation based in Edinburgh to appoint an Interim Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month period.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting with the annual budget setting process
• Ongoing budgetary monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis
• Business partnering with operational heads identifying opportunities for efficiencies
• Financial planning & analysis inputting into business planning and medium and long term forecasting

You will be a fully qualified accountant with a track record of working in Finance Business Partner and/or FP&A roles. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and also be a highly competent Excel user. A background in the charity or not for profit sector is beneficial.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent
