Job Title: Interim Finance Business Partner (ACA Qualified)

Location: Hertfordshire

Length of contract: c9 months

Day rate: c£400

We are seeking a highly skilled and ACA qualified interim Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic finance team in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be an ambitious, fast-learner who can provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with wider teams, acting as SME for finance related matters.
  2. Preparation of month-end, budgeting and forecasting etc., working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  3. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  4. Identify key cost saving opportunities and analysis for process improvement, presenting them to board and key stakeholders.
  5. Analyse financial performance and provide detailed insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  6. Support the development of business cases and financial models for new initiatives and projects.
  7. Managing a small team; supporting and coaching the finance team.
The ideal candidate will have:
  1. Must be ACA qualified.
  2. Proven track record in a Finance Business Partner in a commercial environment.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Advanced Excel skills.
  5. Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
  6. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
