Overview

Our client has an urgent need to re-organise part of its manufacturing facilities to accommodate the installation of a new clean room to support a significant increase in business. This will include the re-location of some of its existing operations to a new area in the warehouse and the conversion of office space into welfare facilities for the increased workforce and a new prototyping R&D area. They are a fast growth organisation in medical devices and equipment. Likely 3 to 6 months starting asap and outside IR35 status.

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Interim Facilities Project Manager who can plan and manage a factory re-organisation that must be delivered on time.

The specific tasks are:

• Refine the existing Project Plan
• Manage and report progress vs. the Project Plan
• Specify work, obtain quotations, spend approval and manage contractors on site.
• Work with the EH&S Consultant to ensure Safe working on site and compliance with CDM regulations.
• Provide clear briefings to the Operations team.

The Desired Candidate

Experienced Interim Facilities Project Manager who has successfully executed factory moves and office refits on time and to a high standard. Knowledge of CDM regulations and how to safely manage contractors in a working factory. Personable, collaborative, clear communicating individual who can maintain composure and relationships under pressure.
